Shaka Satori is the president of the C.E.O. Alliance (Consciousness, Economics and Organization), which develops programs to address the needs of the Black community. Shaka is a certified black belt who’s background includes; military police swat team, counter-terrorism, investigations and bodyguard work. For the past 15 years, Shaka has been a dedicated community-activist, who works with several organizations towards creating a better standard of living for Black people.
Through the C.E.O. Alliance has come VZN Records, the 1st non-profit conscious hip-hop record label in the United States steering the creative genius of our youth towards a better Black reality, and M.A.A.T. (Men of African Ancestry Tribunal), which functions as a Black think tank and the Whirlwind Council, specifically designed to educate all people about lesser known Black heroes and sheroes. Shaka is co-chair of the Los Angeles Malcolm X Festival, the largest event celebrating the legacy of Malcolm X in the world. He is Vice-president of the Carson Black Chamber Of Commerce and a founding member of the African American Summit On Violence Prevention and the See A Man/Be A Man Mentoring Program. He sits on the board of directors of such organizations as The Black Employees Association, Community Call to Action and Accountability and A.M.H. Community Restoration Inc.
Shaka now helps lead The Los Angeles Division of the U.N.I.A. alongside Dr. Julius Garvey, the son of Marcus Garvey.
